Management consulting is a prestigious and lucrative career path with great exit options to business school and executive roles, and because of that it's very competitive to break into. But you already know that. As an undergrad at Princeton, I received offers from every consulting firm I applied to. After joining McKinsey, I was heavily involved in recruiting, read hundreds of resumes, and was trained to do interviews. While at McKinsey and since then, I've done countless resume reviews and mock interviews with friends and clients to give them the best chance at getting an offer. I was trained to give high-quality, realistic mock interviews (both personal and case) and can give you feedback from the lens of someone who knows how firms assess candidates.

- I worked as part of the recruiting team and am very familiar with the process and what management consultants are looking for: 1) worked in the networking sessions and diversity sessions, 2) coffee chats, 3) resume and cover letter reviews (both as initial reader and grader and final approver to go to the next round for 300+ applications), and 4) behavioral and case interviews (20+ candidates). I am one of the few community college students that have ever received an offer from MBB. Within a year of learning what consulting even is, I interned at ZS Associates, interviewed at 4 different top consulting firms, and received an offer from McKinsey. I spent about 2 years there as a business analyst before pivoting into product marketing, but I still help many students break into consulting.
