Jonathan has helped clients get into these companies:
I worked in both Big 4 professional services and MBB consulting and can coach confidently on both experiences. For many folks, the dreaded case interview makes or breaks their chances of experiencing this profession and my coaching approach is to give my clients the tools and the confidence they need to crack cases and impress their interviewers. At these companies casing decently is usually not enough, you need to project a certain level of confidence, personality, and brain power to show that you can handle the demands of the job. I have cased countless people over the years and I constantly recieve positive feedback about my structured, relatable, and actionable coaching/feedback. I structure casing into distinct sections and give clients pointed feedback, tips, and examples they can use to learn from their mistakes and apply new skills. I also recognize that there are parts of the casing process that are rigid, but there are also flexible points where you can drive the conversation, shine as a candidate, and inject some memorable personality. If you want a coach that can help take you to the next level and help you land your dream consulting role at MBB or Big 4 or other consulting firms, I am the coach for you!

About Jonathan
Hi, I'm Jonathan! To tell you a little bit about myself, I come from a low-income first-generation immigrant background. Despite my strong resume and accolades I've achieved professionally and academically, I started off as a New York City public school student at a Title 1 school (school where most students come from families that qualify for free/reduced lunch). I always had dreams of going to college, studying business, and becoming a corporate leader. My determination to acheive this goal led me to bet on myself and apply to the University of Virginia (UVA) with the goal of applying in my 2nd year to one of the leading undergraduate business programs in the United States, the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. I got into UVA despite feeling like a complete imposter given my personal and academic background. However, I didn't let that stop me. I got to work. With very little understanding of the higher education system, how to perform well, and to put it bluntly...how to get a corporate job, I made sure to use of all the resources available to me. My undergraduate days helped me develop an incredible amount of resourcefulness that I now apply to all aspects of my life. Long story short, I went on to graduate from the McIntire School of Commerce, landed in consulting at KPMG, applied to business school years later, and attended the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. At Tuck, I became a more confident version of myself that the undergraduate version of me could only dream of. I dove into my interests in Consulting and FinTech, co-founded the First-Generation and Low-Income club, and graduated with honors. After Tuck, I went to BCG and refined my consulting toolkit. After deciding I wanted to give industry a shot, I made the move to JPMorganChase where I am now a Vice President, Product Delivery Manager. I have acheived great things in my career and nothing would make me happier than to help people that share my background realize their dreams and navigate the challenging path I have navigated with more ease than I did. Behind all the success is a lot of trial-and-error and a lot of self-doubt that most folks don't see. I am sharing this all in my bio because if you have read this far and if anything I said struck a chord with you, I want to be your coach, and I want to help you succeed.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I want to fill the void there was when I wanted to break into consulting and go to business school. Coaches have always existed, but coaches with my background are hard to come by because unfortunately it is really difficult for someone with my socio-economic background to make it this far. The few that do make it this far are usually too busy trying to keep their heads above water to coach people that share their background. I genuinely enjoy coaching/mentoring people and I know that I can help people with strong ambition and purpose that share my background succeed. I have coached informally for years and after a lot of positive feedback from my clients I've decided to formalize my coaching on Leland so that I can reach a broader audience. Right now I coach on MBA admissions, Management Consulting/Case Interviewing, and Personal Finance for early career professionals.
