Welcome to my profile! I am a J.D. candidate at Columbia Law School, and real estate is one of my largest passions. I got my first real estate license when I was 19, and have since passed the real estate exam in multiple states. Through internship experience, I have been involved with many different parts of the real estate industry. As an aide to the Mayor of a sizable New England city, I became well versed the local regulatory frameworks regarding real estate development, and I also have some experience working with landlords to identify new potential properties or streamline their rental operations with technology. I am also very well versed on real estate economics and recent market news, and it's one of my favorite subjects to talk about. Though I have not been involved with real estate sales directly, I also have significant experience working with startups and developing sales and outreach strategies in that context. Professionally, he has built experience across top firms including Newmark, AEW Capital Management, Lincoln Property Company, and Matthews Real Estate Investment Services. Today, Patrick is part of the Shannon Team at Newmark Capital Markets, specializing in office, industrial, and retail real estate. He is passionate about helping others break into real estate investment, private equity, and capital markets by sharing practical insights, technical preparation, and career strategies.
