With over 14 years of experience in aerospace and defense, I have successfully led diverse, multi-component teams in challenging environments. As an MBA graduate from the University of Michigan, I have focused exclusively on serving clients in the aerospace, defense, space, and aviation sectors. I have advised senior leadership on strategic growth, operational excellence, transformation and implementation, commercial excellence, supply chain optimization, and project/program management. While working at both Accenture and McKinsey, I was an interviewer as well as a campus and veteran recruiting lead. Over the past 5 years, I've coached over 100+ people on consulting case interview prep with a high rate of success. As an ex-BCG Project Leader and Interviewer, I'm intimately familiar with the consulting interview process, spanning from case to behavioral interviews. I specialize in taking a "ground up" approach to building specific core consulting interview skills, then integrating them into a strong overall case interviewing muscle. My approach has garnered significant positive feedback and recognition, resulting in me being appointed the management consulting case prep lead at Wharton (for my MBA) and McCombs (for my undergrad). Through this experience, I have helped nearly 100 mentees with their case prep journeys. For my efforts, I was awarded the Career Mentorship award at Wharton. I am fortunate to still have strong contact with many of my mentees, nearly all of whom have gone on great careers at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Deloitte, and Accenture (as well as other firms). Several of these mentees have gone on to achieve great post-consulting careers as well, ranging from Private Equity, to Tech Product Management, to Corporate Strategy I break down my feedback on each case interview into 5 areas, and give detailed, actionable feedback on each: Clarification, Frameworking, Quantitative Analysis, Qualitative Analysis, and Synthesis. This approach has been strongly validated by mentees and resulted in offers across all top firms.

As a McKinsey interviewer for 2 years, I possess a deep understanding of what consulting firms look for in candidates, how the recruitment process works, and the common pitfalls that applicants often encounter. Throughout my career, I have primarily focused on working with banks and consumer-facing products, engaging in projects that encompass traditional consulting strategy as well as new product launches. This diverse exposure has allowed me to develop a comprehensive perspective on the industry, enabling me to guide aspiring consultants effectively. In addition to my hands-on experience, I have taken on the role of a mentor and coach for over 30 individuals navigating the management consulting interview process and beyond. I provide guidance not only on how to succeed in interviews but also on determining whether management consulting is the right fit for each individual. My coaching style is characterized by candor and directness, as I believe in providing honest feedback to foster growth and improvement. However, I also bring a human lens to my approach, valuing the importance of personal well-being and mental health alongside professional success. What sets me apart as a coach is my non-traditional background in visual arts, which initially made me believe that breaking into the consulting industry was an impossible feat. Despite initial setbacks, including interview mishaps and limited networking opportunities, I persevered and found success. As a strong introvert myself, I understand the challenges and doubts that aspiring consultants may face. My aim is to provide a relatable perspective and guidance, empowering individuals with strategies to thrive in the field while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. My recent experience in consulting ensures that I am up-to-date with the latest trends, particularly in the ever-evolving post-pandemic economic landscape.

On Consulting Case Interview prep: I interviewed candidates for BCG. Furthermore, as a Recruiting Director for our Empower Program (a recruiting program focused on Black and Latinx MBA candidates), I was personally responsible for preparing ~15-20 high-potential candidates, and achieved a historically high admission rate. Throughout my time at BCG, I helped dozens of candidates coming out of undergrad and grad school prepare for case interviews.

As a former Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, I bring a deep understanding of the management consulting industry and what it takes to succeed in the application process. I led the events workstream for Washington University in St. Louis recruiting, and my team organized resume workshops, case workshops, and other sessions to help candidates apply and interview at McKinsey. During my time at McKinsey, I led a hiring accelerator for one of my clients where I reviewed resumes, wrote resume review criteria, and wrote job descriptions to help my client determine who to interview and ultimately hire.
