After a few years of consulting at Accenture, I went all in on resources and learning about product, to then pivot to PM at Capital One. There are a lot of parallels between consulting and product management - stakeholder management, business analysis, and problem-solving. As a student from a non-target school, I know it's plenty hard to land an APM offer. In fact, I was the first in my alma mater to land an APM. It wasn't easy at all, but if you're ready to work for it, I'm more than happy to help with mock interviews and whatever other advice you may have. I'm really proud to say that I was not only able to get myself an APM offer, but also 4 others who I mocked closely with! I've been a product manager from my own seed-stage startup all the way to a post-PMF company. During this time, I've worked on products that are both B2B and B2C. I've led teams ranging from 6-18 members and shipped products, making an impact of $50M+ I love working on B2C products, and have ample experience in e-commerce and startups :)
