I worked for two years at Morgan Stanley in the Tech Banking Group in NYC under Jeff Hoffmeister and Michael Grimes. I worked on a number of IPO and M&A opportunities and made a successful jump to a VC / GE job in NYC investing in Series A/B Tech companies

During investment banking recruiting, I received multiple interview invites and offers. I also negotiated a scholarship to pay for my tuition. After my internship and returning full-time, I joined the group recruiting team as well as the Yale recruiting team, so have experience interviewing and prepping candidates for coffee chats, interviews and IB networking. I will share with you tips and tricks that I have used and taught to others that has allowed them to pass IB recruiting and get the offers they wanted. I have recruited for both investment banking and undergraduate private equity summer roles, starting my recruiting journey at community college while transferring and navigating the challenges of being an asylee without permanent status. After being just 1 of a select 30 sophomore interns, at Bank of America, I progressed to complete a junior-year internship, and receive a full-time offer at the firm. Upon joining BofA full time within Global Capital Markets, I was promoted to Associate after two years of being a top-ranked analyst. During my four years I helped underwrite over $200B of capital market transactions.
