Hi there, I'm Ashley! As an incoming JD/MPP Harvard Law School and Harvard Kennedy School student with an international background, I know how opaque and stressful the law/graduate school admissions process can feel, especially if you’re aiming high and/or coming from a non-traditional background. Why Me? I’ve been through it myself – from applying to an unconventional undergraduate dual degree program, to landing a politics adjacent role in Manhattan, to applying to law and public policy schools as a first-generation applicant and landing merit scholarships worth >$350K. I applied to 10 law schools and several Public Policy programs, gaining admission to Harvard Law and Harvard Kennedy separately before deciding to pursue both. Whether you've chosen to pursue a more traditional path or come from an unconventional background, I'm here to help you tell a story that actually stands out. Prior to this, I worked in strategic/crisis communications in New York City, where I helped clients shape complex narratives and served on the hiring committee at various junctures. I also served as a Writing Center fellow at Columbia, where I helped students score top grades in their classes and successfully land professional opportunities. I'll be entering Yale Law School this fall as a Truman Scholar and Paul & Daisy Soros Fellow. As a first-gen applicant, I've spent years learning this process, inside and out: what makes for a winning personal statement, the way an addendum or supplemental essay can reframe an entire application, and what it actually takes to build a narrative that feels true to you—while speaking the language that admissions committees respond to. A lot of law school coaches went through the admissions process years, if not decades, ago. As a YLS Launchpad Scholar from 2024 to 2026, I received cutting-edge, comprehensive advice from admissions officers at T14s around the country. Ultimately, in the 2026 application cycle (which is widely regarded as the most competitive in history), I gained admission to Yale, Stanford, Chicago, UVA, Penn, Berkeley, and Duke. There's so much information on what a law school applicant should do, it can feel overwhelming. My goal has always been to provide superior information targeted to each student's unique circumstances. No questions are off limits, I make the path simple, comfortable and understanding. We can tackle anything or everything – from the minutiae of getting your recs/transcripts to LSAC to crafting your personal statements. Perhaps the best definition I’ve heard of a law school personal statement is that it’s a chance to tell your story. My goal is to capture a side of you that no one can deny is uniquely you. Law school trains you to be an attorney. But every student, every lawyer, is first and foremost a person – with a story. Your story informs your judgment. As an attorney, you hold tremendous power in society. Showing an admissions committee who you are through your story demonstrates how you’ll use that power responsibly. Our purpose is to tell your story. I believe every person has greatness inside of them and our goal is to show your greatness through your story.

As a triple admit to top MBA, JD, and Public Policy programs, I bring a wealth of experience surrounding joint degree program admissions including identifying best-fit programs for career growth, crafting a compelling narrative to fit your target institution, and ensuring GMAT and LSAT scores meet institutional requirements. Prior to graduate school, I spent 3 years at the Boston Consulting Group, and have supported multiple consultants in their application efforts to both MBA programs and JD programs. I also have a diverse set of experiences in the non-profit and advocacy space, with experience supporting 'non-traditional' candidate applications. Brian brings over ten years of experience in admissions to world-renowned universities in the US and UK. His specialties are top-ranked colleges and elite graduate programs in law, business, public policy, finance, and economics. He has guided clients into schools like Harvard, Stanford, Berkeley, UChicago, Upenn, Columbia, Yale, London School of Economics, King's College London, Duke, Cornell, Georgetown, USC, and Johns Hopkins. Brian was personally admitted to multiple Ivy League law schools before choosing to pursue a JD at UC Berkeley. He also holds a master of social science from UCLA. His research interests include Bitcoin, green finance, and civil liberties.
