Priya joined Smash Capital in April 2022 as a Venture Investor in the Los Angeles investment office. Most recently, Priya worked at March Capital, a growth-stage venture capital fund in Santa Monica focused on B2B SaaS investments. Prior to joining March Capital, Priya received her MBA from Columbia Business School. During her time at Columbia, Priya worked at a seed stage venture capital fund focused on investing in female founded startups, an early-stage venture capital fund that invests in entrepreneurial consumer brands, and an early-stage venture capital fund focused on investing in enterprise businesses. Before business school, Priya worked at Deloitte Consulting where she specialized in transforming business processes at Fortune 500 organizations. At Deloitte, Priya developed global technology solutions for Financial Services clients but served clients in a variety of industries including TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications), Consumer and Packaged Goods, and Professional Services. Outside of client service, Priya worked on a variety of entrepreneurial initiatives including consulting for grassroots organizations in Central America. Priya received her B.B.A from the University of Texas at Austin.

With over 14 years of experience in aerospace and defense, I have successfully led diverse, multi-component teams in challenging environments. As an MBA graduate from the University of Michigan, I have focused exclusively on serving clients in the aerospace, defense, space, and aviation sectors. I spent over two years full time and an additional summer internship at BCG as an Associate, heavily focused on Strategy development and Transformation execution. Earning the highest possible performance placement consecutively, I helped coach peers in L&D sessions and was involved in recruiting efforts at the firm. During my time at Emory's Goizueta Business School I lead the Goizueta Consulting Group in establishing a mentorship program, developed new curricula, and led live practice interviews, all aimed at enhancing students’ readiness for case and behavioral interviews. Additionally, as the Co-lead for Goizueta Business School's Career Management Coaches, I specialized in preparing students for consulting interviews, guiding a team of coaches to provide targeted support. In my own recruitment process, I received multiple offers and had final round interviews at all of the MBB. Once I focused on genuinely solving the case, my confidence grew, my performance improved, and interviews became something I looked forward to instead of feared. I’ve walked the full consulting path—from earning admission to Yale’s 2+2 MBA program, to landing an offer at McKinsey, to coaching peers through the same process. Along the way, I’ve also worked in tech product management at Microsoft and founded my own startup, which means I can not only coach you through consulting interviews but also help you compare paths across industries. I reached final round interviews at McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, and Accenture and ended up selecting McKinsey for my internship junior year before returning there full time for ~3 years. I was an assigned interview buddy/coach at McKinsey, and was a first and second round interviewer for Interns/BAs/Associates in the Cleveland office.
