Experience level: Case Team Leader
David has helped clients get into these companies:
If you want senior-level, no-fluff coaching for MBB recruiting, you’re in the right place. I spent 4.5 years at Bain and two of those years as a case team manager leading teams and training consultants. I have interviewed candidates across undergrad, MBA, advanced degree, and experienced hire pipelines, and I have been in the hiring committee rooms where final offer decisions get made. That perspective matters because I can tell you what interviewers are actually listening for, how to avoid common traps, and what it takes to earn a confident yes in a competitive slate. I also care deeply about coaching and development. At Bain, I mentored case team members on the skills that separate great consultants from good ones so you are not only prepared to land the offer, but to thrive once you start. I have worked across Bain’s Seattle, San Francisco, and Brussels offices, and I earned offers from Bain, BCG, and McKinsey during MBA recruiting. If you are aiming for MBB and want candid, senior feedback with a clear plan to improve fast, I would love to work together.

About David
I’m a former Bain Senior Manager with 4+ years of experience interviewing, hiring, and mentoring Associate Consultants, Consultants, and Managers. Before earning my MBA at Stanford, I worked in the medical device industry in deeply clinical, customer-facing roles. I moved into consulting to tackle high-level strategic problems for blue-chip clients, and have since returned to medtech to continue building my career in the space. I loved mentorship at Bain and now coach candidates with a practical, high-rep approach: crisp structure, strong synthesis, and direct feedback that translates to results. I’m excited to help you earn the offer you’re chasing.
Why do I coach?
Coaching is in my DNA: I come from a family of educators (my mom and sister are both teachers), and I’ve always been drawn to helping others learn and succeed. Before Bain, I spent two years leading sales training in the highly technical world of cardiovascular devices, and I loved taking new hires from “brand new” to confident, capable experts. At Bain, my favorite part of the job was coaching and developing my teams. There’s nothing more satisfying than watching someone level up, earn new responsibility, and get promoted, and I’m excited to bring that same energy to helping you reach your next milestone.
