Hello! My name is Gloria and I'm a first-year medical student at Northwestern University with a strong academic background from Case Western Reserve University, where I graduated summa cum laude with a dual degree in Biology (BA) and Finance (BS). I am interested in helping guide aspiring Pre-med and medical students through the admissions/application process. My journey includes completing my MD at Tel Aviv University, Internal Medicine residency at UConn, Chief Resident at Greenwich Hospital, and currently as a Gastroenterology Fellow at Rochester Regional Health. I’m a third-year MD/MSCI student at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, originally from Atlanta, Georgia. I graduated from Brown University in 2021 with a degree in neuroscience and spent the following two years conducting clinical and translational research at the National Institutes of Health. During that time, I also developed a strong passion for mentorship through my work with College Bound, a nonprofit that supports underserved high school students navigating the college admissions process. As a medical school applicant, I was fortunate to be admitted to several top-ten programs. I converted nine of eleven interviews into acceptances and successfully negotiated substantial scholarships from multiple schools, including NYU's full cost-of-attendance Silverstein Scholarship.
