As a recent matriculate to medical school, the application process is still very fresh in mind. Having applied to schools in both the US and Canada, with several interviews and acceptances at top 15 schools, I bring an insider's perspective that will help you stand out at the most competitive schools in North America. I consider my application to be fairly unique, in that my extracurriculars weren't necessarily the "traditional" pre-med activities. Often times, this is what worries people - "I don't know if med schools will care that I did X." Low and behold, that uniqueness may just be what catches and admissions officer's attention and leads to an interview invitation.
