Throughout this process, I have accumulated a lot of knowledge about how the AMCAS application process works and look forward to sharing it with other applicants. I’ve worked with dozens of students applying to medical school and spent two years working with MD admissions. I’ve also served as a medical school interviewer. While I’m no longer affiliated and have no say in admissions decisions, I bring valuable insight into how the process works — with no conflict of interest. I was admitted to the three medical schools (all top programs) I applied to, with full financial support, and completed all my applications independently without external help. I can help you think through your story, select and frame impactful experiences, and craft an application that is personal, strategic, and compelling. I also guide students in supporting their recommenders to write strong letters and in building a narrative that holds together across all parts of the application. As the Assistant Dean for Diversity for the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania I was on its Admissions Committee and also served on the National Admissions Committee at the Association of American Medical Colleges for a while. As a result of these experiences, I developed expertise in advising students on their academic qualifications and extracurricular activities necessary for medical school acceptance. I've had much success helping students be accepted to top-tier medical schools which were: Penn, Harvard, Columbia, Case Western, Wake Forrest, Brown, UCLA and Jefferson.

I am a physician-scientist in training, and I have completed my PhD at the University of Cambridge where I was a Gates Cambridge Scholar, and I am currently pursuing my MD training at Stanford University where I am a Knight-Hennessy Scholar. I am also a Research Fellow at Caius College in Cambridge, which is one of the most prestigious independent research positions. I have over 9 years of experience in academic institutions and have been admitted to several top medical schools including Stanford, Harvard and Yale. I have experience crafting individualised personal statements for some of the world's top scholarships, including Gates Cambridge, Knight-Hennessy and Barry M. Goldwater scholarships. I also have extensive experience in writing and have published multiple sole, first-authored manuscripts in the journal Nature and have won multiple research grants from the NSF and NIH. I have mentored and worked with aspiring medical and graduate school applicants in the US and the UK and have unique insights into the admission process at top universities.
