About Lucia

I am a medical student at Tufts University School of Medicine pursuing a career in anesthesiology, with a strong academic record and extensive research and leadership experience. Throughout college and medical school, I have mentored pre-medical students on coursework, extracurriculars, research, and the medical school application process. I understand how overwhelming the pre-med path can feel, and I enjoy helping students build a strong, authentic application while also finding balance along the way. My goal as a coach is to provide practical guidance, honest feedback, and encouragement so students can navigate the pre-med journey with confidence and ultimately gain acceptance to medical school.

Why do I coach?

coach because I remember how confusing and overwhelming the pre-med path felt when I was starting out. There is so much hidden information in medicine — how to find research, who to ask for letters, how to build a school list, how to write a personal statement - and I didn’t always know where to turn for honest advice. Along the way, mentors made a huge difference for me, and coaching is my way of paying that forward. I enjoy helping students build confidence, make strategic decisions, and realize that medical school is actually achievable with the right plan and support.
