I am an MD-PhD candidate at Weill Cornell Medical College with a strong background in neuroscience and health sciences, having graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California. Welcome to my profile! As a current second-year medical student at the University of Pennsylvania, I am well acquainted with the medical school admissions process. With a strong background in community service and extensive research experience at renowned institutions like the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Northwestern University, I am well-equipped to guide aspiring medical students on how to make themselves competitive applicants. I have successfully edited essays and provided interview practice for 5 individuals, helping them navigate the complexities of medical school applications and interviews. Additionally, I have helped dozens of high school students write their common app essays and school-specific essays. I am interested in helping guide aspiring Pre-med and medical students through the admissions/application process. My journey includes completing my MD at Tel Aviv University, Internal Medicine residency at UConn, Chief Resident at Greenwich Hospital, and currently as a Gastroenterology Fellow at Rochester Regional Health. I have also obtained a graduate certificate from UConn in health professions education while in residency. Moreover, I have worked with students, residents, and peers helping them navigate the complexities of both medical school and residency applications and interviews; in addition to helping tutor for the USMLE and ABIM exams.

I am a dual-degree MD/MBA student at a T5 Ivy League Medical school and Ivy League M7 business school, and I understand firsthand the complexity of applying to medical school, and to combined programs, while trying to build a compelling, mission-driven narrative. I have experience navigating the application process, refining personal statements and secondary essays, and aligning academic, research, and leadership experiences into a cohesive story that resonates with admissions committees. My training in both medicine and business also gives me a strong perspective on what MD/MBA programs look for: intellectual curiosity, leadership potential, systems thinking, and a clear vision for impact in healthcare. Beyond my own journey, I have worked extensively on research, healthcare innovation projects, and leadership initiatives that required communicating complex ideas clearly and persuasively, skills directly transferable to crafting strong applications. I coach students on how to articulate their motivations for medicine, demonstrate impact through their experiences, and position themselves effectively for MD and MD/MBA programs. My approach focuses on clarity, authenticity, and strategy, helping applicants present not just what they’ve done, but who they are and the kind of physician-leader they aim to become.

Having recently gone through the medical school application process, I am excited to mentor premedical students as they prepare their own applications. I was fortunate to receive over 15 acceptances at top programs—including Harvard, Penn, Columbia, Duke, Yale, and Vanderbilt—along with full-ride scholarship offers. I aim to translate these experiences into actionable, individualized advice for future applicants.

Gaining admission to medical school can be incredibly challenging. Despite not having a perfect transcript or resume of accolades, I was accepted to a medical school that boasts a <2% acceptance rate. I am driven to bolster the next generation of physicians and leaders in healthcare by helping fill the gaps in the application, interview, and school selection process.
