Greetings! I'm Alyssa, an MBA-MA graduate from The Wharton School (dual degree in International Studies with the Lauder Institute) and a former Manager at Bain & Company. I pride myself on having a strong background in both numbers and words—I graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with degrees in History and Economics, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. At Bain & Company, I spent several years working on strategic projects for Fortune 500 clients across a diverse set of industries, sharpening my analytical skills and working on high-stakes problem solving. In addition to my consulting experience, my academic journey at Wharton and the Lauder Institute has equipped me with a deep understanding of global business strategy, cross-cultural communication, and leadership. I've very recently been through the Deferred MBA application process myself (2023) and have experience thinking through the application and creating a compelling story. Applying to Deferred MBA programs is different than a typical MBA application because there are nuances for what admissions committees are looking for from a future admit. I have thought through my story and helped others think through there's, especially for those coming from a consulting background. In addition to application strategy and essay prep, I received interviews from 7 out of the 8 programs I applied to so I know what to expect from different interviews and how to prepare for them.
