I have been with BCG since 2022 and was promoted to Consultant in 2024. Prior to joining BCG, I gained significant experience preparing for and applying to interviews with top consulting firms, including McKinsey, Bain, BCG, LEK, Deloitte, and others. This journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in the highly competitive consulting recruitment process. Over the years, I have successfully coached several candidates to excel in case interviews, build strong networks, and adopt a strategic approach to breaking into management consulting. I believe the keys to success are the following: (1) Practice – Casing is a skill that requires consistent practice, repetition, and the ability to recognize patterns. Building this muscle is essential. (2) Readiness to Learn – Coachability, diligence, and enthusiasm are traits that help candidates stand out and demonstrate their potential. (3) Grit – The candidates who secure offers are those who maintain focus and resilience, navigating both setbacks and wins with determination and mental toughness.

Welcome to my profile! I'm Alexander Liebeskind, a former Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company in the digital and advanced analytics practice. During my time at McKinsey, I developed technology strategy and implemented analytics capabilities for a broad suite of clients across industries. Beyond management consulting, I also have experience applying to graduate engineering programs and scholarships such as the Fulbright, through which I currently work as a computer science researcher at the Technical University of Munich. Prior to these endeavors, I graduated from Columbia University as a Egleston Scholar, where I studied computer engineering, applied mathematics, and political science. After earning my MBA at Stanford GSB, I became Chief of Staff at a mission-driven startup tackling maternal mental health. Currently an MBA student at Harvard Business School, I previously spent 5 years at Deloitte Consulting developing strategies for Fortune 500 companies and emerging market governments.
