I'm a UCSF- and Hopkins-trained physician currently in ophthalmology residency, and I've been on both sides of the admissions table. I’ve interviewed at over 25 medical schools and residency programs nationwide and served on both admissions and scholarship selection committees—including as a former member of the UCSF Admissions Committee. I’ve worked with over 200 students as a Senior Medical School Admissions Consultant, helping applicants earn interviews and acceptances at some of the most competitive programs in the country. My journey includes earning an MD from the University of Pennsylvania, where I was a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellow, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Now, as a current fourth year medical student and member of my medical school's Admissions Committee, I bring a wealth of firsthand knowledge about the medical school admissions process through my selection as applicant screener and interviewer. I am a medical student at the the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine. I received a 522 on my MCAT and have a background in research, healthcare consulting, and startups (as Co-Founder and CEO of an orthopedic device company).
