I recently graduated with MBA from INSEAD. I was invited for the interviews from INSEAD and HBS despite being in an over-represented demographic. As a non-traditional applicant myself, I completely understand your weaknesses and strengths. I worked in Emory University's Admission Office for four years, where I recruited and read applications from students across the country. In particular, I developed a keen ability to support ideating, drafting, and editing personal statements and supplemental essays. I also earned my M.Ed. degree from Harvard's Graduate School of Education, and in the past two cycles, I have coached undergrad and MBA applicants 1:1 with successful outcomes across the board. Over the years, beginning with my time as a Neuroscience and Western European Politics double-major at Emory University, I have learned that excellent writing always tells a story. Applying this lesson in practice has paid off. As a Master's student in Neuroscience at Princeton University, I received the most prestigious STEM fellowship available to graduate students in the United States, the NSF-GRFP. Similarly, after spending the next few years working as a consultant at a strategy consulting firm, I am now attending the Wharton School at UPenn as an MBA Moelis Advance Access Fellow.
