As a former Kearney consultant and Wharton/Lauder admissions insider, I help candidates cut through the noise and present their authentic selves—because the best business leaders aren’t carbon copies. My approach blends 7+ years of management consulting rigor with hands-on recruiting and admissions experience. At Kearney, I led teams through complex transformations while honing my talent-spotting skills through recruiting efforts (turns out identifying great candidates isn’t so different from building high-performing consulting teams). And as a Wharton Admissions Fellow, I learned what really makes applications click (hint: it’s not just GMAT scores or fancy job titles). I strongly believe that diverse perspectives fuel innovation—a principle I now bring to my advisory work. As a Wharton Admissions Fellow and Lauder interviewer, I saw firsthand how powerful storytelling can bridge gaps in representation. I’m particularly passionate about helping underrepresented candidates navigate the MBA maze. I am well-versed in global cultural immersion: I hold an MBA from Wharton and a Master of Arts in International Studies from Lauder, as well as Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communications and French from the University of Pennsylvania. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and French, I’ve seen how languages and identities shape leadership, and thus can help candidates turn their unique experiences into competitive advantages. I am a student at Harvard Business School. I was admitted to HBS through the 2+2 program and can give application tips to nontraditional MBA candidates, such as students pursuing engineering or STEM paths. Prior to HBS, I was a software engineer at Twitch (Amazon subsidiary) with four years of full stack and machine learning experience. I was also a product manager at TestParty AI, a seed stage startup focused on digital accessibility remediation using AI. After initially being unsuccessful in my applications, I reapplied and secured admission to Harvard Business School (HBS) – without the help of a consultant. Through significant effort and independent research, I gained the insights needed to stand out. I hold a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Warwick, an MPhil in Development Economics from Jesus College, University of Cambridge, and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School. As a non-traditional candidate, I became a diplomat at just 25 and served in five High Commissions and Embassies, giving me a unique perspective on navigating the admissions process outside the traditional MBA applicant pool. Over the years, I have mentored numerous aspiring MBA candidates, guiding them through every step of the process, from crafting outstanding applications to excelling in interviews. My proven strategies, built on real-world experience and a track record of success, equip me to help candidates from all backgrounds achieve their MBA aspirations. I’ve helped dozens of friends, colleagues, and classmates get into top MBA programs like Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, INSEAD, and Columbia - where I went myself. I know how confusing and stressful the process can feel, and my goal is to make it more manageable, encouraging, and real. I’ve supported people through everything, from writing their stories and preparing for the GMAT, to figuring out which school actually fits their goals and life. I've very recently been through the Deferred MBA application process myself (2023) and have experience thinking through the application and creating a compelling story. Applying to Deferred MBA programs is different than a typical MBA application because there are nuances for what admissions committees are looking for from a future admit. I have thought through my story and helped others think through there's, especially for those coming from a consulting background. In addition to application strategy and essay prep, I received interviews from 7 out of the 8 programs I applied to so I know what to expect from different interviews and how to prepare for them. Overall, I am really excited to help guide people through the process based on my experience, background, and research, so others can share the same success I did.
