I'm a Columbia MBA here to help you earn a spot at a top MBA program, even -- or especially -- if you come from a regular old background. I started my career in consulting at Accenture in their strategy group. I then joined Nordstrom’s corporate strategy team before heading to Columbia Business School for my MBA. After business school I spent two years Samsung’s Global Strategy Group as an expat based in Seoul, South Korea. I'm now back in the US working at Disney on a strategic planning team supporting their Parks segment. As a coach, I'm particularly keen on helping you with Application Strategy and School Selection. Why? My grandfather went to HBS, my father went to HBS, and me? I ended up at CBS! No, not because I mixed up my acronyms -- but because I chose my MBA program based on culture and fit. To do that, I read every school guide on the internet, visited as many campuses as I could, and spent hours talking to colleagues and coworkers from different programs. Ultimately, I chose Columbia, and it truly was the perfect program for me.
