I have a wealth of experience in the graduate management education sector and a global industry network. I have worked in higher education for almost 10 years. Most recently I was Director of Admissions at Imperial College Business School, and prior to that I was Head of MBA Recruitment and Admissions at Cambridge Judge Business School. I’ve read countless applications, interviewed hundreds of candidates and chaired many Admissions Committee meetings. I grew up across five U.S. cities and spent years living on four continents, so “Where are you from?” rarely has a tidy answer. But why I move is simple: to help people become the best version of themselves. For me, that impact starts with food. My personal mission is to make healthy meals exciting, accessible, and affordable. That mission led me to build a hydroponic farm in my apartment, donate 20K lbs of food to furloughed service workers during COVID, and start a kombucha company in China. That clarity of vision led me to become the first person ever admitted to Stanford GSB and the Schwarzman Scholars program in the same application cycle. But more than the names on my résumé, what sets me apart as a coach is how personally I understand the grit, self-doubt, and strategy it takes to craft a standout application. As a recent graduate of UC Berkeley's MBA/MPH program, I’m passionate about helping others achieve their personal and professional aspirations. During my time at Haas, I gained unique insights into the MBA admissions process as an official student ambassador interacting with hundreds of applicants. I also worked in the career center, where I reviewed dozens of resumes and cover letters and led mock interviews for roles in healthcare, tech, and consulting. As a public speaking coach, I supported 25 students, including non-native English speakers, in building confidence and communication skills. When I applied to MBA programs, I worried that my non-linear career path and undergraduate grades would hold me back. By crafting and executing upon a clear application strategy, I earned scholarships to multiple T15 schools, including my dream program. Dual-MBA/Masters from Yale SOM and HEC Paris with 4+ years of interviewing experiences and 2+ years of Management Consulting. I bring a great deal of knowledge and experience to help you navigate and land in a great Masters program and succeed in your post-MBA career. I'm an expert in interviewing, having interviewed hundreds of applicants between Amazon and management consulting, both of which are very challenging interview formats. I have reviewed and written a large number of MBA admissions essays and have been praised for my writing ability and command of language. I personally used my MBA experience to make the triple jump: Industry, function, and geography - and I'd be glad to coach you on doing that or other career decisions you're considering. I'm particularly passionate about helping American candidates apply to International MBA programs and helping international candidates feel prepared for US-based schools. My coaching philosophy is based on the following principles: 1) Your time is precious - we'll be efficient and I won't waste your time if I'm not providing value 2) Listen more than talk- I'll focus on what you need and won't monopolize our sessions with unrelated commentary 3) Drill down on targeted areas of focus - You're good at a lot of things; let's target any weak areas and drill those until you feel confident 4) Respect and genuine concern - I'll always be respectful and I bring sincere, singular attention to our calls Looking forward to working with folks.
