Annie worked as a Consulting Peer Advisor at the University of Michigan's University Career Center, where she provided comprehensive feedback to 10+ students weekly on mock behavioral and consulting case interviews. She helped 7 students secure an internship or full-time offer after continuous preparation and mentorship to the students, and had a client satisfaction rating of 100%. Annie has been through the consulting preparation stages in college when she applied for the Big 3 and Big 4 firms, and she has experience casing with partners and associates from McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Pwc, Deloitte, and many other boutique consulting firms. I worked in management consulting for five years across a variety of roles - as a Business Analyst, Engagement Manager, and in the office of the CEO at McKinsey & Company. I was also able to do a secondment at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a year. At McKinsey, I was a Faculty member who led first and second-year analyst trainings and conducted hundreds of hours of interview coaching. And in college at the University of Michigan, I peer coached dozens of students to offers at McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Accenture, Strategy&, and Deloitte.

As a a former Senior Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, I bring firsthand experience recruiting for, interviewing with, and working at one of the world's leading consulting firms. With an educational background in Biology (BS, MS), I am passionate about helping STEM students or those from non-business fields successfully transition into consulting. I’ll be joining McKinsey in San Francisco full-time after interning at L.E.K. Consulting and KPMG. Beyond firm experience, I served as President of UCLA’s premier consulting organization, UConsulting, where I mentored dozens of students through consulting recruiting and led 10 client projects with Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups. I also organized large-scale networking events and workshops, directly connecting 300+ students with recruiters and consultants from top firms. I know firsthand how opaque and stressful consulting recruiting can feel. Through deliberate, structured practice, I developed a repeatable approach to casing that led to standout performance during interviews and internships. During my consulting internship, I received feedback that my case performance was exemplary, with no material areas for improvement. I now focus on helping candidates break down cases clearly, think like a consultant, and communicate with confidence - so the process becomes faster, more structured, and far less overwhelming. I also support applicants with resumes, behavioral interviews, and role exploration to help them build a strong foundation for success.

I have helped over 100 students with consulting interview preparation, resume and LinkedIn reviews, and academic applications (deferred MBA programs, fellowships, etc.). I have specifically found a great deal of success in MBB interview prep, helping over 25 students secure MBB offers at a 93% offer rate. My coaching style is highly human-centric and personalized, as I use behavioral health techniques to train students on how to channel their brightness with concision, clarity, and creativity. In terms of credentials, I have been a Scholarship Admissions Interviewer at USC, the President of 180 Degrees Consulting at USC, a Co-Founder of the USC Consulting Consortium, a Founding USC Recruiting Lead at McKinsey & Company, and the CEO of Blue Modern Advisory, a Professional Mentorship startup.

As a Senior Manager at Bain, I have personally interviewed dozens of high-caliber individuals who got an interview slot. I've coached over a hundred people on how to navigate the management consulting interview process throughout my 6+ year-long career at Bain, whether that be resume editing, interview prep, or career advice. I have a deep understanding of the consulting industry and the skills needed to succeed. I also hold an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Brigham Young University. I had no experience with consulting or case prep and applied to Bain because a friend said I should. My first practice case was with a Bain employee one week before my actual interview. Needless to say, it was a disaster. I called on all the resources I could to prep enough to make it in, and it worked! I want to give back to honor those who helped me through this process.
