I didn’t intern at McKinsey either — I actually applied after a public policy role I had didn’t turn out the way I hoped. Here’s how I can help: I landed the McKinsey offer as a non-traditional applicant from a non-feeder school. If someone like me can break through with the right prep, so can you. As a coach, my first goal is simple: to get you to genuinely believe that you can earn an offer from a top-tier firm like McKinsey, Bain, or BCG. From there, we build a game plan together. I’ve spent years learning the recruiting process inside and out — I still stay connected with current and former recruiters — and I use that insight to coach applicants into offers. I know what it's like to be a nontraditional applicant trying to secure your dream job, without any referrals or connections. When you're a self starter, breaking into a competitive industry can feel like you're swimming upstream. I still think back to the time I interviewed for MBB internships my junior year. I'd read Case Interview Secrets and Case in Point, thought through some answers in my head... and walked into those interviews wildly underprepared. It was humbling. I didn’t get an offer that summer, but it was the fire that I needed. I doubled down and spent hundreds of hours studying, drilling, and mastering behavioral and case interviews. The effort paid off: I was able to secure an offer a McKinsey, where I worked for three years and attained the "Distinctive" performance rating.
