About Jerry

I was raised by immigrant parents who taught me the value of grit and constant growth. My family didn't come from a traditional business background, but I’ve always been curious about how organizations make strategic decisions and build a global impact. That curiosity led me to UCLA, where I opened doors that ultimately jumpstarted my career. I really enjoyed the steep learning curve (e.g., ability to explore many industries / functions), high level of responsibility, and team-oriented nature of consulting, and thought it'd be an amazing way to begin my career. There were many challenges breaking into consulting, and I had my share of rejections and self-doubt. But these challenges led to opportunities to reflect and grow, and now they help me relate to anyone going through the same process. After several years in consulting, I’m now pursuing my MBA at the Wharton School and am continuing my passion of helping others.
