I work on growth and operations and spend much of my time building automation that removes manual work from our team’s day-to-day processes. At Leland, I built an AI-powered email pipeline that fully manages inbound messages. The system classifies emails, drafts replies, and routes them to the right teammates through Slack. I’ve also helped design automated sales workflows that support lead qualification and customer communication for our bootcamp business. My perspective comes from building these systems as a non-technical operator. I've spent the last several years working hands-on with AI at AWS and Poolside, where I helped enterprises take foundation models from experimentation into production. At Poolside, I identified the opportunity for sovereign AI in early 2025, built the first on-prem prototype myself, and went on to lead the resulting product line across product strategy, engineering, deployment, and customer delivery. We grew it to ~$3M ARR and 40+ deployments, including highly secure government environments. I also build with AI extensively outside of work. I built Pinpoint Alpha, an AI-powered market analytics SaaS with 12 production Python pipelines, and Keel, an open-source agent harness focused on secure and governed agent execution. I can help with everything from figuring out where AI actually adds value to LLM APIs, agents, RAG, evals, prompting, cloud architecture, AI-assisted coding, and getting an idea from a blank page to a working product.

I'm a first adopter of AI tools. I'm an investor and a startup founder with exclusive access to some of the earliest builders in the space. And I have a really bad sleeping habit and addiction to Twitter. i'm now coaching people on how to better maximize whatever AI-based tool they use -- helping you ask the right questions and get answers that matter: a few use cases on agentic design: • building an AI agent or designing Claude projects with the right context, using best practices to elevate your process and final output. • deep research: designing intelligent prompts, asking the right questions to get to the bottom of anything, whether it's a passion project or corporate forensics / due diligence -- then following up to make sure no stone goes unturned -- there are infinite permutations of what this might entail. i've helped 3 different businesses with this now, and about 15 real humans. it's been fun, in large part because it feels like building a dynamic skillset that's immediately testable and learn-from-able. it's also something, if you're actively investing yourself, that you ought to get good at yesterday. • life planning: whether you're charting out the next 3-5 years of your career, planning a wedding, or figuring out which direction to take your business, these thoughts cause head-fog. i help people figure out how to maximize these tools, so they're living better and working more productively. • single use cases: need to figure out how to navigate your state's health marketplace? building a personal budget? getting a vacation itinerary together? bring an idea, and we'll go. i'll also help you dig into sources, understand the limitations of what these tools can and can't do, and help you spot pitfalls in an AI tool's output so you know when and how to challenge your GPT of choice -- and integrate your own critical thinking to make sure it's as thorough and accurate as something you might research independently.
