I am an incoming first-year medical student at Harvard Medical School. This cycle, I have also earned acceptances at Duke, Cornell (Weill), Dartmouth (Geisel), Vanderbilt, Emory, UVA, and MCG, as well as interview invitations to Stanford, Hopkins, Penn, WashU, Mayo Clinic, UChicago, ISMMS, BU, UAB, and USF. I believe that the most important aspect of any application, beyond hard stats, is one's writing quality. Trained in literature in college, I have helped over 15 students with their personal statements while applying to medical school myself, the majority of whom have received several top-20 acceptances.
