My own path to business school was anything but traditional: I moved to the U.S. from Turkey to attend the University of Chicago. Unlike most business school applicants, I left consulting within a year and joined a small startup that later went public. I was fortunate to be admitted to both MIT Sloan with a scholarship and HBS, and can confidently say I know how to package a unique background into a compelling application. I’m especially passionate about helping nontraditional and international candidates stand out. I speak Turkish and love supporting Turkish applicants in particular. When I first began my application process for MBA programs, I was utterly lost. I had interesting stories, but I didn't know what mattered or how to craft my experiences into a unique and compelling narrative that would enable me to stand out from the tens of thousands of other applicants. Thanks to the help of numerous friends from other prestigious universities, I was admitted to and just graduated from Stanford GSB. This proved to me the power of effective coaching and inspired a passion to return the favor. Over my past two years at Stanford, I realized I found energy in helping informally coach and mentor about 10 people through their own business school applications. Three were admitted into GSB and numerous others into M7 programs. In addition to MBA applications, I served as a Co-President of GSB's Management Consulting Club, where I helped prepare MBA1s for the consulting recruiting process. In this role, I often interfaced with recruiting representatives from MBB firms and gained an "inside scoop" into what matters most during this stressful process.

I have successfully navigated the process at a high level and understand what it takes to stand out, especially from a non-traditional background. I earned admission into top MBA programs including the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Darden School of Business, Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, Yale School of Management at Yale University, and the Kelley School of Business - 3 of which were full tuition scholarships. In total, I secured over $600,000 in MBA scholarships. For someone who did not come from a traditional background, these results required clear positioning, compelling storytelling, and a well executed application strategy. Beyond my own results, I bring a unique perspective as both an education business owner. As the founder of a multi six figure tutoring company and a coach for the GRE, GMAT, and Executive Assessment, I understand how to break down complex processes, identify gaps, and help candidates improve quickly. I have worked across engineering, consulting, entrepreneurship, and social impact, which allows me to help applicants, especially those from technical or non traditional backgrounds, translate their experiences into narratives that resonate with admissions committees. I earned my MBA at the USC Marshall School of Business, where I served as Vice President of the Veterans Association and the Tech Association. My own MBA propelled me into roles at Salesforce and later into a Chief of Staff position at Zoom—proof of how powerful the right MBA path can be.
