Jeff is a non-traditional success story who pivoted from a Physiology & Developmental Biology major and a planned medical career to business, launching into now 10-year career in healthcare strategy. After four years in internal consulting at a leading healthcare provider, he realized the need for a business foundation to compete with finance and business majors. Earning a scholarship to Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, Jeff accelerated his growth and is now a Manager at Deloitte Consulting’s Healthcare practice, where he earned an early promotion. With years of experience leading Deloitte/Duke recruiting and onboarding MBAs, Jeff knows how to help both non-traditional and traditional candidates showcase their strengths and stand out. About Jeffrey
Jeff has 10 years of consulting experience, both in-house for a large national health care provider and at a management consulting firm. Coming from a non-traditional physiology background, Jeff understands how to sell yourself to not only compete with all the business major applicants out there, but also to stand out as a unique (and still qualified) candidate. Jeff prioritizes community, fitness, and wellness in his spare time and believes the only way to be successful in the business school application process is to be truly and authentically yourself.
Why do I coach?
Clients are fun to work with, strategic projects are interesting to solve, but nothing brings me more fulfillment that mentorship. Facilitating and enabling have always been core interests (and strengths) of mine since the early high school days. I would not be where I am without the generous and wisdom-filled mentorship of many intelligent people in my life, and I hope to pass on that advice to you.
