After completing my degree in Accounting from the University of Utah, I quickly felt bored and like a cog in a massive corporate machine. I had a lifelong goal of getting an MBA, but quickly learned there is an overwhelming amount of routes to take for a graduate degree. Do I quit my job and go for a top full-time MBA program? Do I keep working and get into an online or part-time program that may take several years? I knew I wanted to work in finance sho should I pursue a Master's of Finance instead? Ultimately, I decided to keep working, got admitted to the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and completed the part-time program in 13 months without ever taking the GMAT. I love to coach people through this overwhelming process and help them decide what is best for them as there are so many options to accomplish the end goal. It is possible to complete an MBA quickly without leaving your job as I can attest.

I applied to a broad range of top programs and was admitted to every school I applied to (4 M7 and 10 T15), despite having a sub-par undergraduate GPA and a non-traditional background. Now, I’ve been on both sides of the process. Most recently, I served on the Chicago Booth Admissions Committee, where I reviewed 100s of applications, interviewed candidates, and saw firsthand how this are evaluated internally (NOTE: It’s a far more structured and methodical process than most applicants realize!) I work selectively with motivated applicants who want honest, direct feedback and a clear strategy from someone who has navigated the process successfully and understands how decisions are actually made.

I work at the intersection of recent admissions experience, real world finance exposure, and a highly international background. As an incoming London Business School MBA student, I was admitted to the majority of Tier 1 European MBA programs, receiving merit based scholarships from multiple of these schools, and have personally gone through competitive interview processes across top programs. I know how to make an application come alive when strong experience alone is not enough. Beyond my professional background in investment banking, private equity, and a family investment platform, I have helped candidates across stages navigate MBA applications, early finance careers, study abroad programs, and select college applications. My strength lies in helping people clearly articulate motivation, impact, and fit, especially when their experiences are diverse, international, non traditional, or creative. What sets me apart is judgment and clarity. I help candidates pressure test their story, communicate authentically in essays and interviews, and perform confidently in behavioral interviews for MBAs and early career roles. A couple years into my time at BCG, I was staring at a blank essay, wondering how to fit my whole story into 500 words. I wrote the “safe version” because that’s what everyone at BCG was doing, and it got me into Wharton and Booth, both with scholarships. But then I decided business school didn't make sense for me at that time, because my answer to Stanford GSB's "What Matters Most" essay read like what I thought the school wanted to hear. I didn't actually know what mattered most to me. A couple years later, with far more clarity, I reapplied to the GSB and answered that essay prompt honestly. What emerged wasn’t designed to impress anyone, but an honest attempt to capture who I am. Many well-meaning readers, including some coaches, told me it needed to be sanitized, edited, rewritten. I trusted my gut, trusted my story, and applied anyway. This past June, I wrapped up my unforgettable journey at Stanford. I coach the way I wish I’d been coached: fewer templates, more truth. I've helped several coachees since share their authentic AND impressive stories, because the two aren't mutually exclusive; I'd argue they're deeply related. If you work with me, my goal is to help you find that version of your story: the one that feels most like you, and helps the reader understand who you are and why you’ll matter.

I am 1/30 deferred admits to the Stanford MBA class of 2028. I applied as a senior in college, and have not only coached many peers on their own MBA admissions process, but I've frequently hosted events with Stanford MBA students in New York City. I have also served on the scholarship admissions counsel at USC, where I attended as a full-tuition merit scholar, as well as a campus recruiting lead for McKinsey & Company while I was a Business Analyst there. My specialty lies in authentic storytelling, and I excel at coaching students on how to write their personal statement, resume, application strategy for recommendation letters, and any other supplementary essays/materials. I use personality science and behavioral health best practices to help my students thoroughly enjoy the process of applying, and also utilize AI to design custom training plans and educational resources for the more mechanical parts of the application process, including test taking. I'm excited to work with more students, especially those who are looking for guidance on how to sell their story!
