About Emily
I graduated in June 2025 with a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and an MBA from Stanford GSB. I was accepted by every school I applied to, including Harvard, Stanford, Oxford, Duke and INSEAD. I was 1 of 5 students in the UK awarded a full-ride Knox Fellowship that year and I was later selected as a Stanford Impact Founder Fellow, a programme that accepts less than 10% of Stanford entrepreneurs. My academic path began at Oxford, where I studied Psychology and Philosophy and graduated in the top 10% of my class. Part of this success has come from a clear understanding of myself and my "why". Graduate school applications force you to ask: What do you want? Why does it matter? What have you actually done? Over time, I have learned how to answer those questions with honesty and now work with others to do the same. My number #1 piece of advice to coachees is simple: take the time to actually understand what drives you. When you stop writing what you think admissions committees want and start writing what is actually real, that is where the magic happens. My professional path reflects my focus on doing work that I believe truly matters. As a consultant at Dalberg Advisors, I worked with teams at the World Wildlife Fund and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on national-level projects, including one that influenced more than $100M in philanthropic allocation. At Sustainable Ventures, I ran an entrepreneurship programme that supported more than 50 climate tech founders, several of whom went on to raise funding or secure their first commercial partners. Later, I cofounded NitroNET, where I managed a team across product, research and operations to build technology in the climate sector. I now run an early-stage startup focused on transforming the built environment.
