Welcome to my profile! I have a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford and a Harvard MBA (class of '23.) My background is a bit non-linear - I work full-time in venture capital, and prior to my MBA I worked across engineering and operations teams in deep tech startups. If you are an engineer or tech person looking to use an MBA pivot to business or escape the engineering silo, I have been in your shoes. If you are already coming from a business or finance role, I can help you apply a new design-thinking and iterative lens to your essay and MBA. When I was applying to business schools, I had no direct experience of applying to US schools. However, my goal was to apply to internationally recognized business schools to ensure that I got the full benefit of taking 2 years out of my career to study full time. I had a small network of friends and mentors that had successfully been admitted into top-tier schools like HBS, Stanford GSB, MIT Sloan, and LBS. Without their guidance, I would not have successfully been admitted into my schools of choice. My MBA opened up opportunities for me to pivot from working in mining, to management consulting at BCG, and subsequently to senior strategy and operations roles at Capital One and Google. Now, I would love to pay it back - especially to folks with non-traditional backgrounds! I'm excited to support you with application strategy, crafting and refining your essays, or interview preparation.

I have over 17+ years of higher education experience and 9 years at Columbia University, serving as a former Director of MBA/EMBA Admissions, and Senior Associate Director for the Columbia Business School Real Estate Center and Alumni Development. I simplify the process with tailored guidance, personalized strategy, and insights earned as a former M7 Admissions Director, helping you build a narrative that feels true to you and compelling to admissions committees. I bring 20+ years of experience with a robust blend of technical, strategic, and leadership expertise to my coaching practice. I hold an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and got acceptances from another top 10 school. During that time, I remember the rigors of the MBA admissions process. Fortunately, I had a mentor who helped me during that journey and helped me get into the perfect MBA program for me. And with that, i'd like to do the same for future aspiring MBA students. I know how overwhelming the graduate school process can feel — because I've spent years on the inside watching talented people struggle to tell their story in a way that truly lands. Having worked in admissions at Georgetown University, the University of Cincinnati, and George Washington University, I've sat across from hundreds of applicants and reviewed thousands of applications. That experience gave me a deep understanding of what committees are genuinely looking for, and more importantly, how to help you present your best self with confidence. My goal has always been to make this process feel less intimidating and more empowering for each student I meet with What drives me is seeing people get into programs they once thought were out of reach. As a current MBA student myself, I haven't forgotten what it's like to be on your side of the process — the self-doubt, the late nights, the endless second-guessing. I've helped students navigate tight deadlines, sharpen their personal statements, and build strategies that resulted in students enrolling in their dream programs. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all advice, because your story is unique and deserves to be told that way. As a Harvard Business School and Kennedy School graduate with extensive experience across venture capital, investment management, impact investing, and startup operations, I bring a unique perspective to MBA admissions coaching that combines elite academic credentials with real-world business impact.
