Isabela’s MBA Qualifications
Isabela has helped clients get into these schools:
With an MBA from Oxford's Said Business School and a Master in Public Policy from Oxford's Blavatnik School of Government, I bring a blend of business and social impact into my coaching. My professional journey includes roles at Bain & Company, The Global Fund, and the Inter-American Development Bank, where I focused on finance and strategy. I successfully mentored and coached individuals in the MBA process, from navigating and selecting which MBA were the best "fit" (1 year, 2 year, or part-time MBA programs, dual or joint degrees; in the US, UK, or Europe), providing guidance in their application (e.g., reviewing CV or resumes, personal statements or essays) and preparing for interviews for Oxford SBS and other MBA programs in the US. Additionally, I provide support in applying for graduate scholarships, including MBA scholarships, as a scholar and recipient of highly competitive programs. Whether you're refining your educational strategy, applications, essays or preparing for interviews, I look forward to helping you succeed in your MBA aspirations!

About Isabela
Colombian-American with a non-linear trajectory from Nashville to Dallas to Rome to Oxford to Geneva. Currently a Manager at the UN Advisory Alliance (UNAA) and based in Switzerland. Previously, I was part of the Global Fund CFO's Financial Accelerator, or internal strategy team within the Finance Division. Before, I worked as a Consultant at Bain in Texas, where my case experience was primarily in the Retail, TMT (Tech, Media, and Telecom), and Nonprofit sectors. Additionally, I consulted for the United Nations World Food Programme on UN Reform and Common Premises, and for the InterAmerican Development Bank on Gender Policies in Latin America. Proudly an alumna of the University of Oxford, where I completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Said Business School and a Masters in Public Policy (MPP) at the Blavatnik School of Government. My undergraduate degree was from Vanderbilt University, where I completed a Bachelor's in Arts & Sciences, majoring in Economics and Romance Languages, with minors in World Politics and Corporate Strategy.
Why do I coach?
Mentorship and coaching significantly contributed to my educational and professional successes to date. Since I sought out and was fortunate to find many mentors and coaches along my own journey, now I want to help others in achieving milestones and navigating transitions in their education and careers to pave their individual path. These are immensely important processes, so I am here not only to share my advice but to be your sounding board. Also, I would like to especially support those interested in social impact, because coaching focused on degrees like MPAs, MPPs, etc., and for those working in international organizations or NGOs seems more limited.
