Welcome to my profile! I bring deep experience in MBA admissions, having previously served as the Assistant Director of Admissions at the Kellogg School of Management, where I helped shape recruitment strategies that elevated the quality and diversity of incoming classes. I currently continue to support Kellogg as an application evaluator, reviewing materials and interviewing candidates for both the Evening & Weekend and Full-Time MBA programs. In addition to my admissions background, I work in executive recruitment at Hunt Club. This dual perspective allows me to understand the full arc of the MBA journey—from what top programs seek in applicants to how graduates ultimately position themselves for high-impact leadership roles. Drawing on this combined expertise, I’ve coached more than 100 applicants on how to present the strongest possible version of their story. I got into Stanford GSB's deferred MBA program and have helped hundreds of college students navigate similar paths through founding HeadStart Fellowship. Over the past few years, I've coached students who've landed deferred admits at top programs, including another Stanford GSB acceptance. My approach is straightforward: I know what works because I just went through it. I understand the entire process from GMAT prep and essay strategy to school selection and career positioning. Having worked in private equity and now building my own company, I get both the traditional finance path and the entrepreneurship route that many deferred programs value. What makes my coaching different is that I'm not decades removed from the college experience. I graduated from UT Austin last year, so I understand the real challenges students face today. Welcome to my profile! I recently graduated with my MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. During my time in grad school, I was a member of the admissions committee; between this experience and the experience of applying to schools myself, I have quite a few insights into the MBA admissions process. I've successfully coached a few clients thus far, helping them craft compelling applications that highlight their unique strengths and experiences which help them stand out amongst applicants. I received deferred admissions to HBS/GSB as a senior at UT Austin, a non-target school for admissions. I went through dozens of iterations on my essays and have a background in Creative Writing that helped me and will help you as well! Authenticity and storytelling also play a major role in the behavioral interview, which is another area of my expertise.

Having gone through the MBA application process and achieved admittance to the five schools to which I applied (Booth, Darden, HBS, Kellogg, and Wharton), I know the dedication required to submit compelling applications that yield your desired result. In addition to this, I've helped a number of prospective MBAs think through their interest in business schools in general, as well as strategize to improve their candidacy. This has ranged from advice on taking specific courses to demonstrate capabilities in weak areas (e.g., 3-credit online, quantitative course to balance a humanities major or a low undergrad quant grade) to tactical tips on navigating a waitlist successfully and receiving an offer of admission. This has also included guidance on GMAT and GRE prep and big-picture thinking to investigate a targeted list of post-MBA career options. I came from a more traditional background at first glance (investment banking, private equity) but had a non-traditional major (Art History) coupled with a personal passion (sustainability) that I hadn't yet explored professionally, but was committed to pursuing in the future. Strengthening weak spots while weaving together my divergent experiences and interests (art, music, Italian language and culture, volunteer tutoring, environmentalism, finance) in my application and detailing my targeted career path (sustainable finance) was a challenging but rewarding experience. As a recent graduate of UC Berkeley's MBA/MPH program, I’m passionate about helping others achieve their personal and professional aspirations. During my time at Haas, I gained unique insights into the MBA admissions process as an official student ambassador interacting with hundreds of applicants. I also worked in the career center, where I reviewed dozens of resumes and cover letters and led mock interviews for roles in healthcare, tech, and consulting. As a public speaking coach, I supported 25 students, including non-native English speakers, in building confidence and communication skills. When I applied to MBA programs, I worried that my non-linear career path and undergraduate grades would hold me back. By crafting and executing upon a clear application strategy, I earned scholarships to multiple T15 schools, including my dream program.
