Getting into a good college is more competitive than ever. It's also more expensive than ever. When I work with my students on their admissions statement, their list of dream and target schools, and their resumes and supplementals, I aim to give them realistic answers based on my experience and knowledge in the field, without leading them on or creating make-work. The goal is to have them on their way after no more than five sessions. Some of my expertise comes from collaborating with Rainbow EDU, known for serving high-end Los Angeles clients. I have worked with those clients and collaborated with the CEO of Rainbow on informational interviews for Forbes. I have been interviewed, alongside that CEO, by the New York Post with regard to financial aid, DEI and admissions. One of the greatest feelings I get is hearing admissions stories from clients!

As a former Harvard Admissions Officer, Berkeley Application Reader, College Counselor (at a top 5 independent school in the US), and a Coca-Cola Scholar Application Reader, I have read 1000s of applications and helped 100s of students through the admissions process.

I achieved the highest possible level of scholarship (Presidential Scholarship, "Thomas S. Monson Scholar") coming into undergraduate study at Brigham Young University (BYU), awarded to only 50 students in each incoming class of 7000+ students. I've since helped students of many backgrounds successfully apply to BYU, including international students.

I’ve helped dozens of applicants get into BYU with an almost 100% success rate, and I know what it takes to turn a good application into a great one, especially for students who don’t fit the traditional mold. Hello! I've gone through the application process for getting into school 4 times in the past decades. I've earned degrees from Stanford University (BS), Georgia Institute of Technology (MS), and Harvard University (MBA and MS). I especially enjoy writing and editing essays; I had my undergraduate essay for Stanford featured in a book titled "50 successful Stanford Application Essays : Write Your Way Into the College of your Choice", was a finalist for the Boothe Prize for Excellence in Freshman Writing, and scored in the 99% percentile for verbal reasoning on both the GMAT and SAT.
