I'll be transparent: I was not the high school kid with a 4.0 GPA or a 36 on the ACT. While my grades were strong, they were far from perfect. Because I knew there were students with better academics than me, I mastered the college essay process "to a t." I only applied to BYU (would not recommend), and was delighted to be admitted with a full scholarship! I know what BYU is looking for when they choose which students to admit and which ones to deny. I also know from personal experience how to get admitted in front of a student with more impressive grades and credentials. Let me show you how!

I'm Bryan, a University of Pennsylvania graduate with a double major in International Relations and Latin American & Latino Studies. As a first-generation Latino college graduate, I learned to navigate the college admissions process by myself and am passionate about helping others through this intimidating process. I'm also well-equipped to work with younger high school students in developing their profile as young leaders - I served as my high school's student body president and captained three varsity sports in my junior and senior years.
