About Yiyi

Hi future MBA candidates! My name is Yiyi and I'm so excited that you're starting or thinking about starting your MBA journey! Having gone through the stressful application process recently, I can understand that you might be feeling anxious and overwhelmed about the entire admissions process. But, I'm here to help you put everything into perspective and hopefully make the upcoming application season less stressful. Ultimately, I became a coach because I'm fortunate enough to currently attend my dream MBA program (Columbia Business School), and I want to help others achieve their dreams of attending their top choice schools as well. I learned a lot throughout my journey of applying to multiple top MBA programs and I can't wait to share all of my insight and advice with you. Just a little bit about me - prior to business school, I worked in Management Consulting for 4 years at Kearney in NYC. I went to undergrad at Carnegie Mellon University and graduated in 2018 with a double major in Business Administration & Statistics and a minor in Professional Writing. I really enjoyed working in consulting after college and have experience helping students break into consulting as well. So, if you're coming from a more traditional and overrepresented background, such as consulting or investment banking, I'm the coach for you!
