Madeleine gained firsthand knowledge of the undergraduate admissions process while on the Harvard undergraduate admissions team as a graduate student at Harvard. In this role, she shadowed the decision-making panel, conducted interviews, and read thousands of applicant essays. Madeleine is a former NCAA Division I Student-Athlete of the Year at her university, and she applies the same performance principles that drive champions to help students excel in college admissions. Her extensive admissions background, coupled with her experience teaching at MIT and interning with a professor on research for edtech product development, allows her to offer specialized guidance, particularly as an MIT specialist. Madeleine is also an Ivy League graduate who received her master’s in education from Harvard. She has since helped her students gain admission to highly selective institutions, including MIT, Brown, and UT Austin, and also find the environments where students will thrive long term: academically, personally, and professionally. She works with students as young as 9th grade, taking pride in helping them craft unique, standout profiles to put their best foot forward. As a former international student (having attended a British international high school in France), a first-generation student, and a recruited NCAA Division I student-athlete, she offers targeted expertise in overcoming challenges specific to these competitive application demographics. As a former professional athlete, Madeleine understands how to achieve goals at the highest level—with discipline, strategy, and heart. Her own experience as an international student required immense creativity in developing passion projects; for example, she put her own app on the Apple Store and gained thousands of users while balancing high-level athletics. Madeleine leverages this innovative spirit to help students build a compelling interdisciplinary niche that successfully marries two or more of their core passions. She is also a specialist in extracurricular development, guiding students into selective summer programs at institutions such as Georgia Tech (STEM), UT Austin (STEM), and Duke (Biology). She is a specialist in helping students find school-level scholarships, especially as athletes and international students, mainly by building them into incredibly niche and memorable candidates who qualify for unique aid opportunities.
