While I currently coach students for college, MD, and MBA applications, I started my coaching career in college advising and have been successful in helping over 20 students gain admission into every Ivy League School and top BS/MD programs. Pitchman and award-winning writer: I have successfully coached 300+ students in the college admissions process, so I understand the nuances of crafting standout applications for admissions committees. Among other things, I help with essay writing (my specialty), school selection, resume and interview preparation, and overall application strategy. I have an MBA, with a marketing concentration. I also have undergrad and grad degrees in writing, including from Northwestern, and I wrote and edited essays and human-interest stories for news outlets for more than 20 years. In addition, I've taught resume writing and interview prep at two junior colleges and helped students there apply to 4-year universities.

My experience as a varsity Track & Field athlete and involvement in various student organizations at Stanford have equipped me with the insights needed to help students craft compelling stories and applications that stand out. Before making my decision to attend Stanford, I visited and communicated extensively with Harvard and Princeton. This firsthand knowledge allows me to offer you expert guidance in finding the school that best suits your needs academically and athletically. In my ~5 years at BYU, I wrote hundreds of papers/articles/publications, and edited hundreds more for my major, personal interests, and role as Editor of the BYU Political Review. With over 11 years in higher education at top US institutions such as NYU, Stanford, and UT Austin, I know what it takes for an application to stand out.
