Hello! I'm Mervi, a current Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, where I work on tech, consumer / retail, and private equity due diligences. My journey in consulting began with a summer internship at L.E.K. Consulting, and currently am a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain. I've been passionate about helping others break into this competitive field and am an active member of the UC Berkeley recruiting team, helping with on-campus recruitment and resume selection. I worked in management consulting for five years across a variety of roles - as a Business Analyst, Engagement Manager, and in the office of the CEO at McKinsey & Company. I was also able to do a secondment at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a year. At McKinsey, I was a Faculty member who led first and second-year analyst trainings and conducted hundreds of hours of interview coaching. And in college at the University of Michigan, I peer coached dozens of students to offers at McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Accenture, Strategy&, and Deloitte.

Annie worked as a Consulting Peer Advisor at the University of Michigan's University Career Center, where she provided comprehensive feedback to 10+ students weekly on mock behavioral and consulting case interviews. She helped 7 students secure an internship or full-time offer after continuous preparation and mentorship to the students, and had a client satisfaction rating of 100%. Annie has been through the consulting preparation stages in college when she applied for the Big 3 and Big 4 firms, and she has experience casing with partners and associates from McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Pwc, Deloitte, and many other boutique consulting firms. I also organized large-scale networking events and workshops, directly connecting 300+ students with recruiters and consultants from top firms. I know firsthand how opaque and stressful consulting recruiting can feel. Through deliberate, structured practice, I developed a repeatable approach to casing that led to standout performance during interviews and internships. During my consulting internship, I received feedback that my case performance was exemplary, with no material areas for improvement.
