Hello! I'm Mervi, a current Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, where I work on tech, consumer / retail, and private equity due diligences. My journey in consulting began with a summer internship at L.E.K. Consulting, and currently am a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain. I've been passionate about helping others break into this competitive field and am an active member of the UC Berkeley recruiting team, helping with on-campus recruitment and resume selection. Why do I coach?

Because I genuinely love helping people reach their potential. In consulting, some of the most fulfilling moments weren’t just solving client problems—they were mentoring junior team members, guiding career decisions, and seeing others grow. Coaching MBA applicants gives me that same sense of purpose. I’ve been through the MBA application process myself—navigating the uncertainty, the self-reflection, the pressure, and I know how much the right support can make a difference. Coaching lets me combine what I do best: strategic thinking, storytelling, and empowering people. It’s incredibly rewarding to help someone tell their story with confidence and get that “you got in!” message. I coach because I want to help others unlock that opportunity too.
