I am a successfully exited founder (GreatHorn, sold to private equity in 2022), with over a decade of experience as a working CEO, a deep background in the startup community, and have served as a board director, advisor, and mentor to multiple early stage companies. I have served on state advisory boards focused on developing leadership and talent, as well as serving in leadership roles at multiple early stage companies across my career. Following my own company’s exit, I have formalized my coaching practice, seeking to give back as well as remain engaged in meaningful work with entrepreneurs and executives earlier in their own careers. I specialize in helping with authenticity, conflict resolution at the C-level and with complex boards, and with strategic change management.

I've spent 20+ years building and leading product organizations at Yahoo, AOL, and high-growth startups including Hightail (CPO), FutureAdvisor (Head of Product, acq. by BlackRock), and Lyra Health (Head of Product). At Lyra, I built the product org serving 20M+ people across 300+ enterprise clients; at Hightail, I led the pivot from legacy file-sharing to the collaboration platform that became the foundation for its OpenText acquisition. Deep experience leading AI/ML product strategy, 0-to-1 product development, cross-functional team building, and scaling through growth. Since 2020, I've coached 100+ product and design leaders globally — from first-time leaders to seasoned CPOs — on AI integration, product vision, stakeholder management, and organizational scaling. I also build and ship AI-powered products using Claude Code and LLMs to stay hands-on with the tools I recommend to clients.

Most career coaching is advice-based and about minimizing or managing risk. I help people do something much harder: rebalance your risk appetite and find unconventional ways to take smart risks.
