I'm a future MBA candidate at Harvard Business School and currently a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group. I’m also the first in my family to graduate from college in the U.S., originally from Monterrey, Mexico. My journey from the University of Texas at Austin to BCG has given me a unique perspective and the tools to help others navigate the MBA admissions process with confidence. Along the way, I was fortunate to be accepted to several top programs, including Stanford GSB, Wharton, London Business School, Chicago Booth, and Duke Fuqua, before ultimately choosing HBS. I work with clients on everything from building a strong application strategy to writing standout essays and preparing for interviews. I am a full-time MBA student at The Wharton School with recent experience navigating the admissions process. I have coached dozens of hopefuls (officially and unofficially) to success at HSW. For those interested in earning a JD in addition to the MBA, I can also speak to the pros and cons (and admissions process) as a current JD/MBA candidate.

I’m a Chicago Booth MBA and current consultant at BCG in Houston, where I work across Climate & Sustainability, Private Equity, and Operations. At Booth, I served as a Career Adviser and Admissions Ambassador, mentoring applicants and students on essays, interviews, and consulting recruiting. I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t, from both sides of the table. I specialize in helping candidates with international profiles, technical backgrounds, or non-traditional stories craft sharp, differentiated narratives.

Graduated from Kellogg School of Management's Full-time MBA program in 2018 - Accepted to 3 Top Tier MBA schools, received significant scholarships to all schools ($250k in total) and achieved 750 GMAT score. Coaching has always been a big passion of mine - while in business school, I was the VP of Prospective Students for the Armed Forces Association as well as a member of Service2School, a non-profit that provides guidance and mentorship for transitioning service members looking to pursue advanced degrees. I'm also a alumni interviewer for Ross. Over the past 5 years, I've coached and prepped over 100+ people on MBA applications with a high rate of success. I have advised 100+ applicants pursuing MBA and/or MPP applications to top institutions, helping applications secure admissions and a combined $500,000+ in scholarship money. Yes, that's over 10 candidates a year, with most of them receiving some form of financial aid! I will help you ethically secure scholarship funding where possible post-admissions (I.e., only after you've decided which school you'd like to attend!).

As an alum of Harvard Business and Kennedy Schools, I navigated multiple graduate degree admissions processes. I’ve worked with candidates who have successfully applied to Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, MIT, and other top MBA programs. I started my career at Bain & Company and then worked in tech (biz ops and growth) before grad school. I have been closely involved in civic and public service opportunities including working at the US Treasury and serving as a State Delegate prior to school. While in my three-year MPP and MBA program, I worked in Venture Capital and Growth Equity investing at Norwest Venture Partners, Floodgate Ventures, and Summit Partners. I now run Growth Strategy @ Carta, a $7B tech co in Silicon Valley. I coach in my spare time because I love helping candidates distill their stories and present the best version of themselves to adcoms! When I applied, my partner was also interested in an MBA -- we wanted to maximize our chances of living in the same city during school, which led us to deeply research and contact admissions and alumni at all top 7 MBA programs to ensure we understood how we would be evaluated. After hundreds of hours of research myself, there is nothing I love more than being able to share that knowledge strategically & concisely with applicants. I particularly enjoy working with dual-degree candidates, candidates with public/non-profit sector experience and candidates interested in emerging tech and Venture Capital. As someone who applied with a partner, I can also speak to how various degree programs consider partner applications and strategy around managing dual-MBA families.
