About Andrew

Hi everyone! My name is Andrew. I moved from Korea to Seattle when I was ten, so I call both Seoul and Seattle home. I graduated from Amherst College in 2018 with a double major in math and history. After college, I pursued a variety of jobs that allowed me to explore different parts of the world and gain new skills. I started as an analyst at a fintech company, which gave me a solid foundation in business and finance. Later, I became an English teacher in Bulgaria, where I immersed myself in a new culture and learned to appreciate the value of language and communication. Most recently, I worked in sales at LinkedIn, where I honed my communication and interpersonal skills while gaining valuable experience in the tech industry. I'm now a student at the Wharton Lauder Dual Degree (MBA-MA) program. I am looking forward to exploring new ideas and perspectives while furthering my education and career goals. In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies that allow me to unwind and explore my interests. I love collecting old records, playing basketball or ping pong (the SF tech scene got me), watching films by Richard Linklater, going on aimless walks around the beautiful neighborhoods of SF, and trying out hole-in-the-wall restaurants.
