Hi there! My name is George Lankas, Stanford GSB class of 2027. I was fortunate enough to receive acceptances to 3 top MBA programs (GSB, Wharton, and Tuck). I ran a tutoring company as a student at Georgetown University, where I helped classmates ace Econ classes and get past writer’s block on essay. I also offer career coaching – after transitioning from an IB oriented role to client facing Private Banking, I know how tricky the pivot can be! I’m passionate about helping people get into their dream MBA program or get their dream job – I want to be a partner and asset throughout your process to ensure you can make your goals become a reality.

I’m a Harvard Business School graduate who got in on sheer grit — no family connections, no employer sponsorship, and definitely no 760 GMAT. In fact, I took the test eight times and ended up with a 690. I wasn’t the obvious admit. I didn’t come from a mega fund. I wasn’t a check the box candidate. But I understood the formula — and once you understand how HBS and the GSB really make decisions, your chances of admission increase exponentially. There’s a strategy to this process that most applicants — and even many coaches — miss. I’ve lived it. I’ve helped others do it. And I only work with people who are truly serious about winning. This is not a volume game. It's about positioning, storytelling, and playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. I graduated from Harvard Business School and have 10+ years of coaching experience. I have helped numerous clients get into Harvard, Stanford, Wharton and M7 as well as land jobs in banking & investing. I previously worked for the University of Michigan career center helping students apply for investment banking jobs and have reviewed hundreds of resumes, cover letters and mock interviews. I have also spent many years working with non-profits such as Synergist to mentor college women interested in business and finance and Minds Matter to help first-generation high school students apply to college. I take a hands-on approach and strive to help every one of my clients reflect their best true potential.

I graduated with my MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where I was an Arjay Miller Scholar in the top 10% of the class. My background includes serving as Co-President of Women in Management at Stanford, where I supported women-focused admissions programming, and as an alumni interviewer for Yale University. With experience in private equity and leadership roles at Morgan Stanley, I have a deep understanding of what top business schools and companies seek. I've supported coaching clients in crafting compelling applications and navigating the competitive MBA admissions process.
