My academic journey also includes an MEng from Imperial College London. As a Wharton MBA graduate who came from a non-traditional background and a non-target undergraduate school, I know what it takes to break into top MBA programs without the typical resume. I didn’t have a brand-name employer or Ivy League degree—and I still earned a spot at one of the world’s most competitive business schools. That journey taught me how to craft a powerful narrative, highlight unconventional strengths, and position unique experiences as assets. I’ve also coached dozens of high school students through college essays, helping them tell authentic, compelling stories that get results. I had the rare opportunity of being one of ~30 students per year to take the class by the former HBS/GSB Dean of Admissions, where we dove into the ins & outs of what a good MBA resume looks like, what a good interview looks like, and how they align with the values of our school. I myself applied and was accepted into four M7 programs, and have a network extending beyond that I can tap into for you. Hi! I'm a Harvard MBA graduate and received admission through the deferred admit / 2+2 program (with a GMAT of 760). I've had a diverse set of work experiences both before HBS (venture capital, social activism, government) and since (Goldman Sachs, The Economist, and now transitioning into creative work / poetry). I love coaching people and particularly enjoy helping international students, and students from unconventional or underrepresented backgrounds. Funnily I've also had a lot of experience getting rejected from places (across sectors and regions!) - which has taught me a lot about what works, and what doesn't -- and how to stay sane through it all :)

Welcome! As a current MBA candidate at the MIT Sloan School of Management, I bring both fresh insights and practical experience to the admissions process. My professional background includes business development and tech sales at a leading digital marketing SaaS company and operations management at a fashion-tech startup. Most recently, I serves as a Strategy & Operations MBA Intern at Google, working within the Google Ads division. At Sloan, I hold leadership positions as President of the Retail & Consumer Goods Club and SVP of Admissions for Sloan Women in Management (SWIM), where I work directly with the Admissions Office to recruit and assist candidates. With my Economics & German degree from Middlebury College and multicultural background from the Philippines & Switzerland, I offer a unique perspective on crafting compelling applications. Despite being from an overrepresented demographic, I managed to get accepted into all three programs that I applied for (INSEAD, Oxford, and Berkeley). Additionally, I had major financial and time constraints because I already had 2 children (at the age of 28!) before applying to business school. I'm not a naturally good test-taker so I had to be both efficient and creative to pull this off. I was able to get into these programs because I'm strategic, resourceful, and know how to craft a story with the audience in mind. I have a lot of experience teaching/training and am excited to help you craft your story and demonstrate to admission committees that you are unique and that you have a lot of value to add to their programs.
