For me, the process became as much about self-discovery as it was about applications. It pushed me to reflect deeply on what motivates me, where I’ve created impact, and how I want to continue learning. I’m a recent graduate of Dartmouth College where I studiedEnvironmental Studies and Computer Science. My academic path has centered around using data and systems thinking to address environmental and energy challenges. Professionally, I’ve worked at Amazon in their Energy Portfolio Management team, where I built analytical tools that improved renewable energy data systems and helped manage a $X billion portfolio of energy project securities. I’ve also conducted clean energy and sustainability research through nonprofits and coursework, giving me a strong foundation in both the technical and strategic sides of the climate and business landscape. Across these experiences, I’ve developed a skill set that blends analytical rigor, structured problem-solving, and storytelling, skills that are essential not only in business but also in communicating your unique story to MBA admissions committees. I’ve learned how to identify the throughline across diverse experiences and articulate it in a way that feels authentic and intentional. What I bring to coaching is empathy, structure, and clarity. I work with MBA applicants who want a thoughtful partner in what can otherwise feel like a noisy, high-pressure process. Over the last few years, I’ve supported multiple candidates through their MBA applications by helping them slow down, make sense of their stories, and make choices that truly fit who they are and where they want to go. My role is less about “polishing” and more about helping people see their own journeys clearly and articulate them with confidence. I spent five years at Accenture Strategy as a management consultant, working across industries and functions. That experience shaped how I listen, ask questions, and adapt to people from very different professional and cultural backgrounds. Since then, I’ve worked closely with startups and venture capital firms, and recently co-founded Day 2 Studios, where we partner with early-stage founders on product and strategy. Being close to builders and decision-makers has kept me grounded in how careers actually evolve, not just how they look on paper. As a coach, I focus on clarity, honesty, and long-term alignment. I help applicants think through which schools make sense for them, what their applications should really say, and how to show up authentically in essays and interviews. Feeling out of your league? I got into America's #1 business school despite having the lowest accepted GRE math score in years. I specialize in helping people from nontraditional professional backgrounds, like myself, apply to elite MBA programs. Prior to attending Stanford's GSB on a full merit scholarship (Knight Hennessy), I had only worked in international development and public service. I felt imposter syndrome about applying to business school: I had no idea what EBITDA was and hadn't used numbers in 10 years.
