I’m a Wharton MBA with a background in private equity, venture capital, and entrepreneurship, and I’ve spent the past decade helping students and early-career professionals tell powerful stories. I’ve served as a Georgetown University writing tutor, a Georgetown alumni interviewer for seven years, and have evaluated candidates for a private equity firm. I am a student at Harvard Business School. I was admitted to HBS through the 2+2 program and can give application tips to nontraditional MBA candidates, such as students pursuing engineering or STEM paths. Prior to HBS, I was a software engineer at Twitch (Amazon subsidiary) with four years of full stack and machine learning experience. I was also a product manager at TestParty AI, a seed stage startup focused on digital accessibility remediation using AI. Happy to provide coaching on topics related to deferred MBA admissions, big tech, and startups.

Coming from a technical background, I understand how to form a storyline and appeal to business schools through the resume creation process and answering difficult essay questions while weaving in university experiences and credentials. I have had non-traditional roles for MBA admitted students and I believe that I can help the most for students coming from engineering/computer science/data science looking to pivot into a business background.

I applied only to Stanford GSB, in Round 3, and got in — without any external help or review. I built my application from the ground up, relying on reflection, storytelling, and clarity about what I wanted to say. I will get you to where you want to be. My time in the Military has thrust me into many unknown situations where there is no clear path and I have charted that course for myself and can help others do the same. Over the course of 2 years I went from not knowing what a GMAT was to Scoring 710 on the GMAT being Accepted to both the University of Chicago Booth and Harvard Business School, and receiving a summer internship offer from both McKinsey and Boston Consulting Group. When I know the where I find the way and I am eager to help both military veterans transitioning and anyone else who is interested in this path. I am a passionate teacher which is why I choose to serve as a Green Beret, and I care deeply about the people I coach and mentor. The greatest job satisfaction is seeing the success of others as you help them to grow and achieve their goals.

I’ve helped dozens of friends, colleagues, and classmates get into top MBA programs like Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, INSEAD, and Columbia - where I went myself. I know how confusing and stressful the process can feel, and my goal is to make it more manageable, encouraging, and real.
