About Zack
I specialize in helping those from diverse paths land their dream school and career to avoid the same obstacles I faced. I coach clients on MBA and college admissions, and career pivots, by turning their experiences into compelling stories. My own journey taught me that success comes from following what drives you, not what’s expected: captaining a college sports team despite being a walk-on, earning a Stanford MBA as a veteran with a philosophy degree, and joining an AI startup without a technical background. Everyone’s path is different. My job is to help you tell yours in a way that opens doors so you can reach your goals.
Why do I coach?
I coach to help people turn unconventional paths into opportunities to create positive change. I’ve worked with coaches whenever I’ve applied to school or jobs since everyone can gain from an outside perspective. Given my "nontraditional" background, I wanted my experiences to connect with admissions committees and stand out for the right reasons. I also had to learn to translate my military service into business terms to show employers its value and land roles where I could lead and grow. My education and startup career changed my life, so as a coach I want to give others those same chances too.
