My clients have gotten into top business schools such as Harvard (HBS), Berkeley (Haas), and MIT (Sloan). I am a Stanford GSB graduate and was accepted to every business school I applied to. I'm a former engineer turned PM; so I understand the non-traditional applicant's path.

I was admitted to HBS and Stanford GSB through the deferred/2+2 program. After that, I founded Deferred MBA Consulting and have helped hundreds of clients with their applications. Ultimately, learnings from Deferred MBA laid the foundation for Leland. Since most of my time is spent building Leland, I'm best working with clients who don't need intensive coaching in a short amount of time. I love working with clients who have strong backgrounds but just need a few hours of time on application strategy, essays, recommender selection/prep, and interviews.

I love mentoring and coaching students and applicants - I regularly volunteer my time with the Berkeley Haas entrepreneurship program by providing course content, speaking opportunities, mentorship hours, and coaching. I also regularly support incoming MBA and MPH students with application review, interview prep, and more. While at Haas, I worked with the MBA & MPH admissions committees for a year and picked up a bunch of tips and tricks to hack the process! I read MBA applications for the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley; I sat on the UT Austin MBA Student Admissions Committee when I was earning my MBA; and I've been a recruiter for top tech companies in the SF Bay Area. I received a full Consortium fellowship to complete my MBA and was also named a Forte Fellow. Since I realized that a thing like a deferred MBA program existed the February of my senior year, I had only 2 months to complete my deferred MBA applications and get a test score.
