Hi! I’m a current MBA student at Wharton, where I’m on the Director’s List (top 10% of the class).. Before business school, I spent four years in consulting, and I’m now interning in private equity - so I’m especially excited to help consultants, finance professionals, and potential career-switchers tell a compelling story. Annie is an experienced and passionate coach who uses the power of storytelling to inspire humanity and empower individual growth. She went through the deferred admissions process last year, and successfully crafted a strategic & holistic narrative despite having a sub-par GMAT score, received interviews with Stanford GSB, UPenn Wharton, and Chicago Booth programs, and received letters of recommendation from highly influential people such as the business school dean, a Partner at a Big 4 firm, and world-class faculty. Now, as a Michigan Ross graduate and a deferred admit to the University of Chicago Booth Scholars Program, she hopes to offer comprehensive assistance to students who are looking to apply for deferred MBAs. At the University of Michigan, Annie served as an academic writing coach for underresourced first-years hoping to transfer into the competitive Michigan Ross business school, so she has reviewed over 20 application essays from diverse students, and deeply understands what top business programs are looking for in their candidates. As a first-generation college student, Annie has always highly valued education and conducts thorough research to further her abilities. CAREER • What I'm Doing Now | I'm based in SF building a health tech start-up. Recently raised $2M+ in venture capital funding. • Healthcare Fellow | While at McKinsey I spent 1 year focused on healthcare innovation through our Center for Societal Benefit through healthcare. There I worked with health plans, governments, providers, and non-profits on strategies related to behavioral health, social determinants of health, and more. • McKinsey | While at McKinsey, most of my worked focused on strategy for healthcare payers, providers, and pharma companies. I also did substantial work in restructuring and transformations. • Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering | Prior to McKinsey, I was a chemical engineer focused on developing new materials in a research lab at Georgia Tech. My professional background includes business development and tech sales at a leading digital marketing SaaS company and operations management at a fashion-tech startup. Most recently, I serves as a Strategy & Operations MBA Intern at Google, working within the Google Ads division. At Sloan, I hold leadership positions as President of the Retail & Consumer Goods Club and SVP of Admissions for Sloan Women in Management (SWIM), where I work directly with the Admissions Office to recruit and assist candidates. With my Economics & German degree from Middlebury College and multicultural background from the Philippines & Switzerland, I offer a unique perspective on crafting compelling applications. A little more background on me: I graduated as Valedictorian from Middlebury College, where I majored in Economics. I then started my career in management consulting at The Bridgespan Group ( a nonprofit spin out of Bain Consulting), and then moved on to a Strategy & Ops role at Nurx, a women's health startup. I am currently in my final year of the Joint Degree Program between the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. During my degree, I have served as a teaching assistant and tutor at both Harvard and Dartmouth.

Despite being from an overrepresented demographic, I managed to get accepted into all three programs that I applied for (INSEAD, Oxford, and Berkeley). Additionally, I had major financial and time constraints because I already had 2 children (at the age of 28!) before applying to business school. I'm not a naturally good test-taker so I had to be both efficient and creative to pull this off. I was able to get into these programs because I'm strategic, resourceful, and know how to craft a story with the audience in mind.
