Having recently navigated the college admissions process, I'm very familiar with what's required to write strong essays (common app + supplementals), choose and prepare the right recommenders, and to help you submit compelling applications to top business / liberal arts programs. I'm also well-equipped to work with younger high school students in developing their profile as young leaders - I served as my high school's student body president and captained three varsity sports in my junior and senior years. Getting into a good college is more competitive than ever. It's also more expensive than ever. When I work with my students on their admissions statement, their list of dream and target schools, and their resumes and supplementals, I aim to give them realistic answers based on my experience and knowledge in the field, without leading them on or creating make-work. The goal is to have them on their way after no more than five sessions. Some of my expertise comes from collaborating with Rainbow EDU, known for serving high-end Los Angeles clients. I have worked with those clients and collaborated with the CEO of Rainbow on informational interviews for Forbes. I have been interviewed, alongside that CEO, by the New York Post with regard to financial aid, DEI and admissions. One of the greatest feelings I get is hearing admissions stories from clients!

I went to college at Washington University in St. Louis and subsequently worked at BlackRock, the world’s largest financial asset manager with $10.6 trillion in assets under management. After five transformative years at BlackRock, I pivoted into the psychology field, landing offers from selective doctoral programs at Boston College, Fordham University, and Yeshiva University, the latter of which I’m attending to earn a doctoral degree in clinical psychology. As a career coach, I’ve helped people land top scholarships, fellowships, internships, jobs, and graduate school acceptances. At BlackRock, I served on the admissions committee for the firm’s internship and analyst programs, where I reviewed resumes, conducted interviews, and evaluated candidates. As a first-generation college student, I personally and thoroughly understand the difficulties associated with any application process. My journey through the college application process has motivated me to continuously think outside of the box and highlighted meaningful takeaways I'm eager to share with you. With much of the application process being ambiguous, I'd be happy to help clear up any questions or curiosities you have regarding college admissions. My experience applying to and interviewing with Ivy League universities has enlightened me to many of the intricacies that aren't always readily available to most students who intended on applying. I am a rising 3L at Stanford Law School. I love working with students to craft a cohesive, powerful narrative that reflects their accomplishments so they can gain admission to their dream law school or university. I take a holistic approach, taking time to understand my clients' background, personality, and goals. I do not let median GPAs or test scores or admission rates dictate my clients' application strategy or success. I can also guide students on how to discuss their race and ethnicity in our post-affirmative action reality. By closely studying the U.S. Supreme Court decisions Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v Harvard and Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v UNC overturning affirmative action, I've been able to help my clients discuss their race and ethnicity in ways that college admissions offices can legally consider when reviewing their application. Throughout law school, I have completed 5 internships in the public, private, and non-profit sector including a Big Law internship, two state attorney general internships, a local government internship, and an internship at a leading international non-profit environmental advocacy organization. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Environmental Economics and Policy and a B.A. in Urban Studies. In undergrad, I worked as a research assistant and independent researcher while also serving as president of the Berkeley Urban Studies Student Association. I have coached undergrads through their law school application process and high school students through their college admissions process. I have helped undergrad and high school students get admitted to programs where they had well below-median GPAs and/or standardized test scores.
